This is from a series of dreamlike works responding to the artist’s childhood in a form of memory sketchbook – a daydreamer living in his imagination. The title refers to the comic anti-hero Billy Bunter – H.P shorthand for Higher Power. The Superhero battle references King Arthur and the metaphorical character Lord Peter Whimsey (about to miss his fishing trip)
